Can i quit and be rehired at a different store?

I was terminated at my old store of 4 years for attendance back in august and started working at a new location as a seasonal hire in october. Recently saw my old TL who i was on really good terms with and we talked about me coming back. He said i should ask to get a transfer back to my old store but since i'm seasonal i don’t think they’ll let me. My new stores management is a lot worse and the commute is an extra 35 minutes. If i can’t transfer would i have to just stick it out till my seasonal is over then transfer or could i just quit and apply at my old store? its been three months since i was at my first store and i’ve got a number of people who could put in a good word for me including both my old tl’s or would that just not matter?
 
As a seasonal, you would not qualify for transfer. I believe you would have to finish off your seasonal term. And for regular hires, TMs would have to complete their 90 days.

You may or may not have to wait a minimal term to reapply for that store

HR folks can better answer.
 
Im not going to sugar coat it but I'm surprised you got hired at another store only a couple months after being fired fir attendance. Its most likely going to be a no on the transfer until your seasonal obligation is met. If you just quit it might not even let you reapply. Talk to your store management and maybe you get lucky. A TL isn't going to have the power to hire you back and I would be surprised if your old HR or ETL would take you back or they wouldn't of fired you in the first place.
Work your seasonal job and have good attendance then I would assume the old store would take you back.
 
I am surprised you got hired at another Target. You have to complete 90 days before you can transfer. Both your current and former ETL would have to agree to the transfer. The most your former TL can do is put in a good word for you with your former ETL. What kind of attendance issues did you have? Were you auto termed for no call no show? Was it too many call outs? Were you on good terms with former ETL and ETL HR? What about your former SD? I definitely would not quit and reapply. First there is a wait before you can reapply I think 3 months not sure though, 2nd your old ETL or ETL Hr might not want you back.
