Changes to dress code

its just i hate the color khaki and don't like jeans simple as that, i have been wearing black pants and shorts for the last 6 years

Technically we were never allowed to wear black. Leaders just never enforced the rule. I’ve gotten some good deals on pants shorts on Amazon maybe check there.

And I didn't like wearing pantyhose and heels when I worked office jobs where those things were part of the implied dress code. But I needed to pay the bills.
Won't say I complain now about wearing sneakers to work now, and this job has lower stress. But it pays nowhere near what I made before or provide as good of benefits. Life is full of trade-offs.

Handbook said any solid color pant

I get the cracking down on the red but man. No black pants is so dumb. It’s such a clean on brand look too

All this talk is pretty interesting considering they still haven't said a WORD about the new dress code at my store. A lot of my fellow TMs wear graphic tees with the red vest and pants that aren't blue jeans or khaki in any capacity. Not one person in leadership, including our SD, seems to care at all

Interesting. My store had the little circle jerk where we talked about it and my SD said if we can’t do that to basically find another place to work 💀

I can understand the consistency of the red shirts but the pants is sooo dumb

They're basically fixing the facade without doing anything meaningful; all about optics.
