Do we get paid more for staying later?

I know the obvious answer to this question but if the store usually closes at 10pm and now closes at midnight do we make more than $15/hr past 10pm or only $15?

My shift diff goes from 10pm-8am. But I normally work overnights. Otherwise I've heard at least half your shift needs to be overnight to get the shift diff.

A whole dollar?? So glad my store pays way more than that for overnights. 😃💰

Differentials are anywhere from $.50-$2.00 after midnight but the majority of stores are at only $.50. And this is paid separately as literally $.50/hr so it’s not much at all. You won’t notice it.
