Both my wife and I work at Target. This last year she had to go as a dependent on my Target insurance. This yr she qualifies for her own. During open enrollment the web site will not allow her to choose one of the health insurances offered her. This is because she is currently a dependent under me. The Benefits center says to wait til April 01 and reapply under a qualifying event because she will no longer be a dependent under me based on my enrollment choices. They couldnt give me something in writing to prove that they will give her her own insurance. Anyone had any experience acquiring the health insurance after April 01? Im just concerned that they will say the computers wont allow it. Ive been told wrong info by so many customer service reps that I dont trust what they say without seeing it in writing. Thanks!
