They've started doing the employee of the month at our store. I personally will never understand the point of vibe cards other than to get Target shwag. If I want to give someone credit for something i'll just tell them to their face. Vibe cards are so impersonal

Target has really de-emphasized the vibe, or at least my store did. We used to have to write vibe cards at huddle, or share a vibe moment. That's all gone now.

Now there's an employee of the month! OMG. Those are brilliant. (But it should be "too far" not "to far". - Grammar Nerd) I seriously love those so much.

This reminds me of when I worked offshore as a roustabout. We were required to find at least 4 safety violations during a 12 hour shift, sooooo - during the last hour we'd fake them, write up the stupid report and have them ready for the post-shift meeting.

Like "vibe" cards, it was a fucking joke.
