Hello! Joining to help get more feedback

I tagged a few people that have been around Target /the forum for awhile - in a variety of rolls. This is not a complete list, so hopefully more people will reply.

I'm GM with a primary focus on OTC and Personal Care. Will have to give this some thought - I'm a "can't think of anything right now" person who then has a brain flash when I'm in the middle of doing a task: "Can't someone think of a better way to do this?"

This is a good forum to reach a wide audience of TMs and TLs. Some of us have been here for kind of a while.

I’m food & beverage specifically produce fresh meat.

Mostly we have to keep inventory accurate and not order too much that doesn’t sell.

When the FDC throws like 10 cases of 93/7 ground turkey make sure you TPC that down so it sell before its short date.

Watch out for capacity when doing a revision bagged apples always get 100 fit. I change it to 10 fit.

Inbound TL here, most people in my department have been happy with the recent changes in MyDay, etc.

My personal gripe, our TM's are never listed in the "Team" section of MyDay since we're split across multiple days I'm assuming. It would be nice to be able to pull that up if I lose my grid somewhere. We sometimes have TM's that have short shifts that fall in the same day, and they are listed. The ones whose shift crosses midnight, do not.

I have a question regarding the new change in setting Plano . Even though the set requires us to follow steps one by one , as most of us are used to do it in their own ways, many still set the Plano as they want and then just skip through the steps until it’s finished . What would be the future consequence of doing that ?
I also skip some steps but make sure the capacity is updated, stuff are pulled and filled , sale signs and other temp ads are in place etc . But I still wonder what I’m not doing that’s actually expected from the app .

It would be fantastic if the FDC trailer items weren't included in the OH's before the truck actually arrives, allowing guests to order items we do not have. INF in F&B before the truck arrives is awful. Also, something needs to be done about vendor items that don't arrive until after the store opens but were ordered the night before.... a cut off time for bakery?

Maybe if any items coming in should not be able to order online for 24 or 48 hours. That way it has a chance to make it to the sales floor

We have to receive our FDCs. Your store is autoreceived?

No, but we have found that when it says (for instance) 12 OH and 12 on the way, those 12 OH are the 12 on the way. It only happens when the count is zero.
Interesting, will bring this up and see if they've noticed the same here. Don't think that's ever been brought up as an issue, or they just thought it was common knowledge and didn't tell us.
