Think it up to stores. My store is offering .50 cents while another store in our district higher volume is doing a dollar and the low volume c store isn't offering it

Kinda weird to say "offering" since we don't pick when we work, but I happen to be working all 5 of those days so yay, thanks for the crumbs, Target...

That 50 cents can pay for the Anvil my body will need after doing two hour long CAFs for 7 hours...

Offering since my store is letting people not scheduled work those days if they choose. They also have told overnight team leads and back room that they can have it up till xmadbif they want.

I was told it was a $1.00 more per hour the weekend before Christmas during orientation at my store

Also there was a sign up sheet for volunteers to work closing Christmas Eve..all day it is $1 more an hour also then they are getting dinner catered and they are going to give out/raffle door prizes.
I signed up..beats dealing with drama (@ home)

Ours is a dollar an hour more. I won't turn it down, but it's an extra $8 for an 8 hour shift...not exactly high dollars we're talking here.

Show me the money!

Hmmm... My store has it at $1 extra. I'm scheduled 40 with no leeway when I punch in early. Looks like free money for me plus overtime.

My store did this last year, but with like 200 hours in the hole right now, I doubt this will happen again.

I was scheduled for 40 hours last week and I (as I usually do) clocked in 5 min early each day. Saturday night, my LOD told me to leave early cuz I had overtime and that's a no-no at our store.

Um, *I was scheduled for 40 hours* and we're allowed to clock in early (and I get to work 10+ minutes early 90+ percent of the time), of course I'm gonna have overtime unless someone tells me I'm not allowed to clock in early (No TL has ever done this). Schedule me for 39 hours, problem solved.

This is not store by store. Everyone will get the extra $1 per hour on the 19 and 2o. Right off workbench in weekly news

That part is announced at my store. The rest of the dates are not, and may be regional. I doubt if regional they're store by store though, but potentially different for differing group/region/district.

They are trusting you to make sure that you are working exactly 40 hours that week. If you clock in early, then you are responsible for cutting that time elsewhere.

Our GSTL will chill by the time clock until it's exactly time to clock in, and some TMs will take longer lunches. I prefer to cut it all at the end of the week and just go home half an hour early on Saturday (though that is frowned upon during Q4).

I just cut time off my final shift of the week, unless it is a GSA shift, then leaving early isn't viable, in which case - longer lunch.

I don't mind an extra $15.50 though tbh, it's fairly decent (I work 15.5 hours between the 19th-20th).
