My Mondays consist of me Lod tl in hardliners one in electronics n one in soft lines n 2-3 cashiers!! We're in backup all day etls take a 5 hour meeting no one runs strays call buttons going off everywhere n me stress out!!

it really depends on your volume. january is a hard month. lots of sick call outs, and payroll drops so its a bare minimum.
 
Hell, that sounds like part of the problem.
 
It all depends on your volume. With barebones scheduling, we stay away from too many people scheduled before 11am. There really isn't much guest traffic at that time so we do depend on the support teams a bit more. Sales floor team members are scheduled 4 hour shifts. If they call out its easier to absorb 4 hours than 8. The ETLS have committed to working pulls for 1 full hour after their ETL meeting. Its not great but it works.
