I know our GSTL's start higher than $15.Asants. If starting pay is $12 then that’s what gsa makes and gstl makes $15.
Asants. Tl pay is $15 here.TL base is 16. GSTL isn't more than other TLs.
TL pay company wide is 16 minimum. It’s supposed to stay a 4 dollar difference as the minimum goes up.Asants. Tl pay is $15 here.
$3 difference here.TL pay company wide is 16 minimum. It’s supposed to stay a 4 dollar difference as the minimum goes up.
That’s impossible because when TMs went to 12 the TLs went to 16. It’s a company wide thing not just store to store. Every TL in the company should be getting paid atleast 16$3 difference here.
So most folks will have an opinion that the positions should pay more. However, Target will only pay
as much as they need to pay to fill the position. At my store, there are always people willing to do
these jobs. I would believe that is the case at most stores.
So, now what?
Not anymore...they are paid the same as cashiers.I believe that the GSA's still start at the same wage as an Electronics TM, which is $0.50 above normal start wage.
Some of our GSA's work harder than our GSTL.I'm interpreting the OP to mean how much ideally would you pay the average GSTL and GSA, not how much do those positions currently make under Target's pay grade system.
Assuming base pay for all TMs is $12 per hour:
GSAs - $13
GSTLs - $15
If you think GSAs are only deserving of base pay, then your store either has shitty GSAs or you have a distorted idea of everything that position is supposed to do. This is coming from someone who has been a GSA in multiple stores since that position was first created 10 years ago.
