I have a question, I just recently found out I have hiv, and my world is spinning. I think I need to go on loa but I will not go on it if it needs to be disclosed to my stl or hr. We all know everyone talks and I'm worried about that. Can I still go on loa without that bit of information being disclosed? I haven't called hroc as I'm afraid to do so.
 
So sorry to hear that. Hang in there and the advice by the two above me is great. When you go on loa your hr team is simply told medical leave with no details. None of their business
