Okay so before I was pregnant I was getting 25-28 hours a week and I told hr and big bosses I was pregnant ( I have had really bad morning sickness so I told them early enough just in case) everything has been fine. Constantly getting 28 hours which is great! I send screenshots of my appointment dates to my etl so she knows what days I may need off to work around. She messed up one day which was whatever didnt care but I've noticed she missed another appointment ( I send these literally beginning of December as soon as I scheduled them) on top of that my hours are being cut significantly ( im talking 28 to 16 hours and no i dont have appointments that week) I work up front as a guest advocate and I did put in my accommodations I couldn't do super heavy lifting so I can't do drive up. I feel they are cutting my hours cause im pregnant but im not sure if I can prove discrimination. What do you think?

Hours are awful in January just what happens every year.
Yes I totally understand that but while everyone else around me only got a few hours cut mine was significantly. That's the issue. Yes my hours are set 6:30-2-30 and 2 days of the week 8-3pm I have 6 days available for them because they asked me for that availability for helping with style sort. I can do Style, Tech, Fulfilment, GM, and up front as guest advocate

They are accommodating your medical appointments by not scheduling you. What’s the problem? If they are giving you a semi-co sistent work schedule to allow time off for your appointments, it may be easier to mirror the same one week to week. Hours are tight this time of year anyway, so I doubt you are being penalized, especially if you are unable to work drive up, which can be busier during the winter months. Do you think others should lose hours to give to you just because you’re pregnant? That statement is just as ludicrous as complaining tat your hours are cut in January. If you want consistent hours apply for a TL position.

I have no appointments that week what so ever. I give them all my appointments weeks in advance. Ive worked here for 2 years and I've done the January months and not once was I this low ever. They can't just mirror weeks because im pregnant that can cause a lawsuit as that would be pregnancy discrimination.

You not be scheduled 📅 covers them “Spot”, not you @M120604. You are not being discriminated against hours are low org-wide. You are expecting, concentrate on your incoming child. If you want additional income, you will need a 2nd job. Do NOT expect Target 🎯 to be your cash cow. You will be very disappointed 😔. You already said you were crossed trained in other departments. Try asking the other people in said departments if they’re willing to give up any shifts. Sorry 😞, sad reality.
