Is your store falling apart like mine?

This. Overdoing it isn't worth it especially if you can't even get a "thank you" out of your efforts
The funny thing about this is that our current SD is always saying "thank you" over the walkie for the most minor things. He's taking what should be a good thing and doing two bad things with it, imo. One is making "thank you" into something cheap because it's handed out for practically everything - picking up a call, responding to a guest service requested button, collecting reshop, picking a FF order, going up to the registers, etc. etc. ETC. Some of us just roll our eyes when we hear him 20 times a shift. Okay, not that many times, but you get the idea.

Second is he's turned it into a pathetic plea for being liked. He knows TMs don't care for him, but he has no clue why, blaming it on a former TL at my store bad-mouthing him. I happen to remember that former TL and totally believe that he'd bad-mouth anyone if he saw benefit in him for himself. But he was an awful TL, so I'd likely think anything he said was either an outright lie or an exaggeration. The SD doesn't take any responsibility for the bad morale and TMs leaving, but it really is all about him.

Why yes, yes it is.

Recently our store is doing really good . Everything getting pushed same day, zones done , sales met and above . Main change I saw is more people in each dept , people getting good hours . Hopefully it stays the way it is , although I doubt that after Q4 . But one can only hope .

My store had a good run of SDs, although there was an interim one when our SD was on medical leave for a few months who wasn't so great. She wasn't awful though. Our current one is driving TMs away in droves.
Let me guess, they say that is not because of the SD, but because of the "current job market in your area"🙄

Hi all, Long time lurker and I just joined the site.
Backstory.
I have been with Target now as closing expert for almost 7 years. I have had 48 team leads come and go. Is this normal? Does this happen at your store?
The workload keeps growing and growing with less people. We are now expected to push dairy pallets Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. Before we pull our priorities.
I only work 6-10. Those pallets usually take till around 7:00 - 7:30.
Then it's to our work centers. IF you don't end up backing up OPU's, SFS, or registers.
Check lanes get to sit on their asses if no one is in line. They don't even zone up their own lane anymore. And forget about asking them to push a priority. Except for me, I have one person who will always gladly push my pets pull for me.
They fire the wrong ETLs. They hire incompetent ETLs.
So going into 4th quarter, we are down a SE TL, a GM ETL and a store director going on leave (may give away my store with that info but oh well)

Thanks for letting me vent if you all got this far i really thank you.
Knowing you had 48 TL's come and go is the wild part for me. I can't imagine counting and keeping track of this figure.
