Can a ETL take you off the schedule without talking to you? This past week I was taken off the schedule do to my area being shut down for repairs.

This is a bit of a tricky question. Some of the answer depends on state laws. As far as Target is concerned, it is normal practice to speak with the tm first. They are able to cut shifts, but shoud be giving you some form of notice of the change. If you were not informend and you showed up for work, you should be paid for a minimum of 3 hours.

I feel like they should be able to re-allocate the hours to different workcenters - maybe give you cashing shifts instead. Boring, I know, but it's better than no hours.
