So I interviewed last Monday for Perishables Assistant for a store I would be transferring too. I was offered the job, but have to call HR at the new store tomorrow so we can talk 'pay'. Currently I am making $12.34. I work 4am, so I get $1.00 shift diff on top of my normal pay. So, my new pay would have to make up for the shift diff I would be loosing, plus I will be traveling out of my way a little bit, so it would have to compensate for gas and travel (that is what my STL said). How much do you think is too much to be asking? I have been with the company for 9 years, top employee at my store and am cross trained in every department. I used to be Electronics Specialist and MMB Specialists (when Specialists existed). I don't want to ask too much, but I don't want to ask too little either, because if it's not going to be that much of a difference from what I am making now, it won't be worth my time to take on more responsibility among other factors that weigh in.
Thanks in advance for the input!
