I know these departments knew they were going to be downsized .. but how much warning did they get before the layoffs and did the team members know if they were going to be the ones being laid off
Or was it a crap shoot with the rug pulled out below them?

thanks @Hal

TOMs were reduced in HC to 1 per building. I don't have exact numbers as to how many for the other roles but just that they're being reduced. They've been telling ICQA and TMTs to naturally attrit HC for a while. And problem solvers at least in my building have an inside joke of being useless. I think leaders weren't taking it seriously in some buildings.

I was on call in regards to a few buildings and all were impacted differently on who's role was eliminated.

All laid off team members are still Target employees for 60 days from layoffs and have that long to find another role if they wish. But obviously there's always enough roles to go around depending on your site.

Watch the warn notice for your state

I’m happy about this…the crew was too big… I was a backup ICQa for a minute….my training included lots of bullshitting with co workers and OM making up
Stupid pointless projects aka pointless busywork

Ive read through this site and the posts on reddit about it.
Im not seeing anything about ICQA or problem solvers going away completely. There wasnt much talk about it at my DC on monday.

Ive learned that the ICQA headcount was cut a couple years ago and from what ive read on reddit there were DC's that were still over that headcount and the layoffs targeted the DC's with the overage. So if you were supposed to have 15 but had 20 ICQA the 5 with the lowest seniority were told they were done. But seems to be alot of conflicting information floating around.

Bigbear can you elaborate more on the ICQA announcement at your building?
