I was working up until my 5th hour and you usually have to take a break before the sixth hour. I think I was told by my manager to clock out, and I was at 5.68 ... did I hit meal compliance or am I fine?
Welcome! When you hit fifth/sixth hour depends on when you punched in, not on the start time on your schedule, so if you punched in say, a minute early, you will hit compliance a minute early. If you punched in a minute late, you have an extra minute before you hit compliance. Just saying, because sometimes that’s not made clear in training. Good luck, hope you’re fine.😁

In many states, your meal must be started no later than 5.0 hours after you clock in.
In some states, meal compliance is no later than 6.0 hours after you clock in.
As others have said, Target prefers to be very cautious. Check the Compliance sheet posted near your time clock.
