Archived Need Help! Start date

I have orientation very soon and just got really sick recently. I have a fever and aches along with the other usual symptoms of a cold. Is it possible to push back my start date? Should I suck it up and work anyway? It’s unfortunate because I was really looking forward to starting work ASAP! Thank you to whoever helps out. 🙂

If you have a fever you should not be out/at work. Stay home! 😱

You can call your store and explain the situation to HR. They might have other later dates that you can attend an orientation.
