New family/relationship policy for LWWs, saying can't have any family/relationship in the building unless on opposite shifts ie day/night doesn't matter if it's different department or not. Same for OM and also TSS/HR, L6 or higher no family/relationship in the same building. Anyone else hear about this? And doesn't included the backup LWWs even though they have now all been given same access as a LWW in looking at prod, doing hours

i assume current people get grandfathered? if not who decides who moves?

also i thought this was already the case but idk. maybe i was thinking tss couldnt have relations on the same day/night. which if you think about it probably shouldnt be allowed because tss could theoretically inform their relation of policies and help them steal no matter the key. or tbh even in separate buildings could be the case.

but how do they even know (for sure) who is related? many last names are common, does it count cousins? related people could just keep it a secret lol. tho i guess they could just ask on hire, and if the person lies, termination (but then again how can you prove a relation...)

3. Retail & Workplace (Lead Warehouse Worker)
In warehouse and supply chain environments (such as at retailers like Target or Amazon), LWW is a job title for a non-managerial, senior hourly employee who directs floor processes and ensures the team meets standard procedures.

Hope that never hits our store; we tend to use the 'friends & family" hiring plan.
The most dependable TMs are usually kids of long-timers cause no kid will call out if Mom or Nanna or Tia is gonna have to pick up the slack.

TSS cannot be related to anybody on site. This includes another building, if the DCs share the same campus as security will cover both sides and share cameras, etc.

In general it is an honor system. There have certainly been OMs dating TMs that "got away with it" but its instant termination if someone finds out you have been lying.

And as we all know, the second someone learns, they are going to inform HR. And rightfully so, when someone has the ability to give preferential treatment, they will.

This has become a problem in a few DCs. I think a lot of sites were pushed to stop hiring only externally and start promoting from within. Especially post-LWW rollout. However there are TMs with pre-existing relationships and its become a bit of a debacle.

A lot of the TMs who were promoted before LWWs were told in no uncertain terms that they could and should not be dating TMs. I know this was repeatedly drilled in my head before I was promoted, but I learned through previous jobs not to shit where you sleep. But when we rolled out LWWs a lot of TMs were already dating or related to others and its caused a lot of drama.

Sounds like its become a return to old. Which I prefer because there was a little too much nepotism happening for my tastes, and the amount of incidents it was causing AP, HR and otherwise was insane.
