What kind of routine are you on?
How are you tracking your accessory attachments, SRP, REDcards?
Electronics team tasks for New Releases? Revisions for Entertainment?
How do you follow-up/coach your Electronics team?
 
Yes, do check out the thread. I've also drafted a routines list divided by shift (the team had nothing of the sort before this, oh god). Included are things such as label maintenance and checking key OUTs, such as AD items, endcaps, or that big ole' TV wall and the gaps that OUTs can present there. There was also no system for reshops, so I've actually had to write into the routines that reshop is collected/strays dropped off at breaks or end of shift. Back to basics...

You need to have a system to hold your team accountable to new or existing expectations. The routines checklist is my method. We also suffer in AAR, I'm requiring that each shift is required to get a minimum of 3 attachments, hoping to pull everyone's involvement up before we can really start tackling the bottom-performing items on AAR and maybe play some games with it too. Of course you'll also need to be present for this so this will be difficult because I'm sure you have other departments which require your time. But do take some time each day listening to your team interact with guests. Are they asking those questions to better assist/sell the guest accessories? Pull them aside after (on the floor) and explain those missed opportunities, it doesn't have to be a full blown coaching conversation. I'm teaching my team to be better salespeople, so I'm invested to do a number of "correcting conversations" before we start moving on to documented coachings.

I'm still working on revisions and new sets with our PTL. They've been using Electronics hours to do much of the new sets, which of course eats into my department's hours and time to do Electronics tasks. Work with your PTL to come up with a fair exchange to use Electronics TMs under their hours. Revisions aren't all that difficult to do, but talk it out. I have an ex-MMB specialist from when the position existed who does much of this work which is helpful, but all of these tasks can be taught to a willing and interested TM who's familiar with the department.

Also, they better be checking out those keys each and every shift! And no personal items in the hold drawer/cabinet, that stuff drives me up the wall! :)

Just please make sure you're tracking attachments as attachments/TOTAL SALES. Our store would track them as attachments/non attachments which will not help you in AAR tracking
