Partial week paid leave

If my paid leave ended Sunday, can I work 40 hours, or only 32 since I'm getting paid Sunday?

Was my weekend to work but since I was on leave I didn't.... So I was planning on working 4 days to complete 40(32 worked +8 from paid leave). Then I got told next week is mandatory all leads have to work. First time being on a paid leave so not sure how things work. If I work Saturday do I then have to take another day off. Asked SD and HR ETL but they weren't sure.. Figured I'd ask here
