Hi, new here. I've been with target for a month and on my last pay, they didn't pay me for 17hrs so someone in hr called someone for me and shes supposed to be getting an email for a pay voucher for me ? Anyone know what that is and how long it would take ?

In my state you get a voucher signed by the LoD for the time not paid and you get paid in cash. Every state is different but its a pretty quick and painless process. You will sign the "check" then cash it at guest service

Can you roll those unpaid hours over onto the next paycheck or is that not allowed?

I've been told by HR that it takes a few days. Make sure to watch for missing punches at the end of the pay period and get them fixed by the following Monday morning.

Nope.

We can add the hours to the next paycheck. A payroll voucher takes 24-48 hours from the time I request it. I get an email from HROC once they are done processig it and I have to go through a couple of steps to produce a voucher that can be cashed out at a register. It depends on your state, in some states like CA the HROC has to process the voucher the same day. In my state they have up to 48 hours, weekends not included.

It could just be that our HRTM was making it seem more complicated than it actually is due to having to deal with an excessive number of punch corrections every Monday.

Since I'm paid weekly, I thought I would ask. Rather have it roll over to the next check if this were to happen. Thanks.

For me they forgot my vacation hours, the next day HR had my voucher ready and paid me cash. Should be quick turnaround.
