I've had this for almost a year - my store was a Pilot store for it. It looks horrible in the beginning, but once a routine is down, it's not bad. PCV needs to be completed at the normal time, however, the Sign Audit part just needs to be completed by the time the store closes. Just make sure that when you print the "missing signs" from the automated created batch, that you scan them into the aisle location so that it doesn't continue to drop in throughout the week. Sundays are usually the worst for this, but again, remember to scan the printed signs in using the Sign Set Up on RF Apps and you will be fine. Also scan in the signs when it leads you to one and everything's OK - again, this way it doesn't continue to drop in.

Ohhh it's this? Yeah, my store has had this for while. I didn't realize that all stores didn't have it yet. I hate it. -_- Our signing team member does most of it, but other TL's and ETL's will help out with it also.

This can be eliminated if signs are printed for all endcaps if they are set early, then placed aside with the next batch of signs that need to be put up. That how I do it anyway. What would really help, is if HQ would send all sales plan signs to begin with, rather than have the ad set team of TL spend hours printing missing signs.

We get signs for our sales planners, it's probably just your ad prep process. Make a list of sales planner dept numbers (i.e. 113, 115, 175) and give it to the person prepping the ad. Tell them to save any signs that the planogram numbers starting with those (top right of sign) and give them to the TL (unless the endcaps are already up). The TL can then put up the signs when they do the endcap, have them put them up on Sunday if it's already up, whatever, you know what I mean.

tldr - show prep person how to read pog numbers, save sales planners stacks

Some 3x5 or 3x3 come in, some do not. Many of the missing ones are TPC's or 7x11 signs. Ad prep and hanging is not a green process. The signing specialist and PATL claim that missing signs are a HQ issue. True, the ad prep can verify if they are there to begin with, but on the other hand, they should not be missing to begin with.

alright just in case they try to drop this in my lap;

what is this and what does it entail? is it endcap ad signs, or the whole ad, whole store? is it something you walk around and do, or does it come up like an urgent news where you print it, put it up, then call it a day?

It basically takes the place of the regular Ad Walk (unless your store decides to continue walking the Ad). It will automatically send you to where signs are supposed to be to scan. This is to basically check to make sure that expired signs are removed (if still up to then remove them) and to check to see if current signs are up (if they are, you will be prompted to scan the sign in using the Sign Setup function under RF Apps, and if not, then you print them from the main printer which will be under a batch and scan them into the aisle location when you put them up). It automatically drops into the PDA under Price Audit and is combined with the PCV.

We stopped scanning in signs and stopped scanning them out. We scan one sign per aisle and move on. It helps on payroll....
