Had my orientation today and tomorrow is my first day of training. Even though I'm a Softlines sales team member they want to teach the sales member how to use the registers if they ever need backup. My trainer for orientation didn't really answer my question that I asked about what we do when we first come in.

Do we clock in and then asked the people at the desk for human resources how to get in touch with our Cashier trainer? Do we just try to find them ourselves? Or do we grab a walkie talkie and page them?

I know my trainer's name for tomorrow but how on earth do I find her?

I don't want to bother anyone that I don't have too. I know HR can be busy and every other team member in the back room is going in and out quickly.
 
If you're training on register than walking up to the register and asking for them might be the best approach.
Grabbing a walkie and asking where there would like to meet is your second option.
 
Clock in, go to the checklanes, find the GSA/GSTL (supervisor of the front-end) what they'd like you to do.
 
If you are sure on what days you are training on the registers, I would think walking up to Guest Service and asking for the GSA/GSTL would be the best. You might want to just check in with your Softlines TL, just for check-in sakes.
