Also, if you are sent to a RIG that was part of an old POG that was never broken (usually end caps): First change the capacity to zero, then enter in zero for the quantity. Next, break the tie of the old POG from that location. You will now get credit for completing the RIG and will need to leave it un-completed or skip it.
Two warnings:
If you break the old POG's tie first, you will not be able to enter in a quantity for the RIG.
The TM scanning has to be certain it is an old POG, and know how to break ties. If they don't, better for them to call over someone who does know how.
Also, if Plano made a revision or tied a new POG where the RIG is/was, you won't be able to complete the RIG. This only becomes a real problem if the revision/new POG is for all the checklanes. Since most RIGs occur up there on Mondays, we've just told the Plano team not to tie the checklanes on Monday morning. But, this only happens about 2 times a year.
