I work at a DC. I've been there for almost 6 months. I've been told by leaders that they are making me permanent soon. If they do make me permanent, does that mean I get a pay raise?

Seasonal and temps use to be paid less and didn't get insurance.

Im not sure if they are still paid less. Hr should be able to tell you if you will be getting a raise to your dcs starting wage or if you are already at it.

Once you're full time you get a starting wage and raises every 6 months until you reach max pay. Typically takes 3 years to hit.

There was a huge mess when we did temp workers. Many were getting paid $5/hr less than regular workers without knowing it. Which is fine until somewhere along the way they turn into full hires and that pay rate did not change.
DC lucked out that the women they did it to was a terrible person and got fired for calling out constantly because if she was smart she had a solid lawsuit on her hands.
Anyway, in my experience that pay bump is not guaranteed and I would make absolute sure they tell you what is up.
