Archived Short term disabilty and taxes

Earlier this year I was out of work for 5 weeks. I had surgery, so I did receive short term disability pay. Which was 50% of my average hours. Does Spot take taxes out on this ? or is it taxable at all? or do I have to pay the taxes on it when filing my taxes this year

It should indicate whether taxes were taken out on the paystub. You can also look at the statements on eHr.
