i am miserable everyday I go in the store. I have been there 15 years or so but lately I have to fight with myself to go in for the lousy 4 hour shift I am scheduled. So should I leave?

If you can, and your miserable, do it.
15 years sounds too long, but there's people at all stores who have done that long. If you can do it, better for your health. But if you can't, try LOA.

Sorry. Anyway, I was in the same situation before I departed the company.

That is a lot of time to give up and start again and it seems that they want you to go as you are caught in a vicious circle at this time,Target does not want tms who are obviously miserable to be there,so unless you can get you head right,you really should move on,it is only a job so why be miserable and fighting with yourself to go in,personally I would not go in for four hrs anyway.as suggested above loa would give you some breathing space,good luck.
