From what I've seen it looks like maybe pay grades, and at least the pay rates for the individual pay grades vary from store to store. Is there a way to look up what the pay grades are, and what the pay rates for the different pay grades are for my store?

Pay grades are consistent for each job within the company. Pay rates depend upon the market, length of service (which accounts for review raises, company changes in shift differentials, etc.) You will not find pay rates on a chart.

Ok thanks. The reason I was asking is because I was hired about 2 years ago for salesfloor, but a few months after I was hired I got moved to electronics. Now I work mostly in electronics, but i also know backroom, POG, Instocks, and push truck a lot. But I'm still at the salesfloor paygrade, shouldn't I have at least gotten a raise when I was moved to electronics?

Electronics is salesfloor. You have the same core role as every other salesfloor tm. I know that most electronics tm's (and I was the electronics specialist back in the day) thinks that they have to do so much more than every other salesfloor tm, but that's just not true. Those who are out on the rest of the floor have to know how everything else except electronics works. IMO, they are the ones that should be getting a higher pay. Many of the items that they sell are higher priced than some of the electronics items and require more general knowledge. (I know I'm opening a can of worms and/or whoopass here, but I will defend this opinion if I have to.) Having global store knowledge/experience is a plus for the store and for you, if you should decide to move to another area or need to write a resume, but we don't get paid on how global we are - just for the area that they schedule us most often. (I'd like it if it were the other way - I am trained in all but food ave and photo) If you are the brand tm, which has higher expectations and more in-depth core roles, then you would have gotten a pay raise.

The electronics/entertainment brand TM sets new releases and handles entertainment revisions, among other duties. If your store has electronics in a higher paygrade than sales floor and at least half of your hours are in electronics, then you should be getting electronics pay.

I set the electonics revisions and new releases every monday. The majority of my hours are in electronics. I don't know what paygrade my store has electronics at.

You will find that information at mypayandbenefits if you don't know or don't feel comfortable talking to your TL, ETL or HR to ask. It's not a secret. They should be able to tell you.

Well I figured out that I am at Paygrade N03, and the system still says I am salesfloor. I don't know how to figure out what the paygrade for electronics is supposed to be though.

Since not all stores have electronics at a higher paygrade than sales floor, talk to HR.

A electronics pay grade is n07, I think. Please check with your etl or hr. The key is being stellar in electronics for that status. I have a tm who was global & finally got a pay raise after being capped for 3 years on Salesfloor pay grade. That tm is great asset to me & the store. He drives sales & motivates the team for success. The tm doesn't say much, see an issue, solves & moves on.

Last week I had a 100% service and replacement plan rate and over 100% AAR. I'll just have to ask my HR. I don't want to come off as demanding, I just don't want to be taken advantage of.
