Archived Switching departments?

Can TL's ever switch departments or apply for a different TL position or is that something that is sort of frowned upon and is only truly available when its offered by an ETL.

Ive switched areas...ask your etl and stl see what they say

We have a couple of TL's who have moved to different departments.
It's all part of the growth necessary for advancement.

We have a TL that switched departments after she got back from maternity leave. Of course that might have been out of the store's needs while she was gone and what was available and where she was needed when she got back.

You may not need to go to that extreme, though.....

At my store, my stl does change areas. On toys side, it a roller coaster. Market side is a solid as a rock. Waiting to see what happens.
