Archived Switching jobs

I was wondering I'm trained for both sales floor and cashier but im a cashier does anyone know if it's possible to switch jobs from cashier to sales floor?

Find out who the TL is for the area on the sales floor you want to be in, and let him/her know. Also volunteer to zone or do gobacks for the sales floor whenever you can. Shouldn't be hard to transfer unless you're a seasonal hire.

Or they need cashiers more than salesfloor. Or they need good cashiers up front and they feel you are one. Or the salesfloor TL dislikes you for any reason, real or imagined.

You can also speak with HR about this. I started as a seasonal cashier but have since been trained basically everywhere.
