Archived Target in Australia?

Well, see. They were one company until a company in the United States bought out the American locations. Oh, wait a minute. That was El Pollo Loco.

This has been going on since the 60s, I believe. They are two separate companies, started at about the same time. An old ETL of mine, who lived in Australia, said the Target of down under is more like a KMart.

The Target in Australia is a separate company. It only shares the logo with the American Target and has no connection to such.

Actually due to trademark laws both companies have the same logo and its all good as long as they dont operate in the same countries.

Target Australia licenses the name only. Totally different company. Its more of a showroom catalog store from what I heard.

Target Australia is owned by a different company. When I went to Australia I visited a couple Target locations in Sydney and Melbourne. They look very little like American Target - for one you're not assaulted by red, and they don't carry groceries.
