My store is abandons, except for the STL who says strays. My store is also PDT and LPDA. No PDA. TMs from another store in our district were confused.
Only the old tms who use pdas call them pdt at my store, the ones who punch in like 3 0s to clock in.. It sorta bugs me lol

You must have had/have older TMs there for the term PDT to still be used!

Its reshop.

We also call it Checklane 14.

Its kind of like how CAFs and "the line" refer to the same thing

Store is relatively new, but there are some tenured folks from the other store in town. The guy I got it from has only been with target 12 years though.

Strays here. I call in. But X people called out. I go on a 15 (worked at McDonald's before Target). We "go in compliance." We have an SSL (Store Service Leader) not LOD. A backup used to be a "backup", then it became a "code 1," now it's a "Guest First." We have both backstock & overstock interchangeably.
What do you call it when you're headed from Backroom to the timeclock (or anytime you're hurrying to be somewhere) but you get stopped on the way by a guest? I like to say I got "snagged" by a guest. Hasn't caught on though.

We call it reshop. I call in, we'll say that someone called out. Backstock and overstock are NOT the same thing, although overstock will become backstock. Overstock is when the shelf is stocked past capacity, while backstock is just anything that doesn't fit in the floor. I also call it getting snagged by a guest.

At my store it's "abandon." I've never heard anyone call it something different in my store (or the other two I worked in).
It's "calling out" like "(name) just called out" or "today we had three call outs."
I think most everyone in my store calls it going "on compliance" or "hitting compliance."

At the store we called them PDT's. Go to the DC and the exact same Motorola scanner guns are called Telxons, which baffles me still. According to Wikipedia, Telxon was bought out by Symbol (and eventually Motorola), oh, only about a decade and a half ago....

My store? Reshop, pulls are put on the line, backstock and overstock are different (SUBT 99), and its PDA and LPDA

Reshop here, only heard the term goback from a former GSA who spent 20 years working for WalMart.

Re-shop. My old STL called it abandons, though. We don't call off or out, we call in. And none of this PDT nonsense. We had a TM transfer in from another store who called PDAs PDTs. That changed quickly.

What do you guys call a cart attendant losing 30 carts with a pusher and having them launch off towards some Lexus/bmws

A guest.
