OOT: for SuperT,

1. how many tms do you assign to pushing bev AND snacks (from Pringles to cookies, power/granola bars, juice for kids like Honest, and nuts)?
2. And do you get how many hours is allocated for a dept for a push from truck?
3. Is bev and snacks in 1 department or separate?
4. For End to End, is it reasonable to assign only 1 tm to own both bevs and snacks?

Having all of beverage and snack for end to end would be a pretty substantial workload, considering both are usually extremely heavy. I think you'd be wise to split those up.

Right? But those are what my ETL gave me. Wine and Candy were my areas before she moved me to Bev and Snacks, mainly bec she said it needed someone to take care of it and since my areas are good she said the girl who was usually pushing Bev and Snacks would be able to maintain it. Bev and Snacks are looking good... I am slowly improving it and my TL is helping me push and have one or two people to help me push. But that's only when she's there. When she's off, the old TL (my former TL who oversees PFresh) screws me over and sends no one to help me. Only after I leave. I asked those questions bec the old TL and the SrTL told me bec of hours allocated for Bevs and Snacks and why they have to prioritize other areas. I call it bullshit bec I have seen Flow. They never have only 1 person over there. Plus I have looked over the workload (visually see how heavy each area in dry would be) and saw for myself the jerks they are.

Yeah, that's pretty unfair. That's a major flaw of your tl and etl if they expect one person to do that.

The Backroom Team would be appalled at some of the shit I have done in the Fixture room.

Get an Electronics lock box up into the steel?.................. Without the Wave/crown?.

My TL's pretty good. She helps me push and have send some people to help me. It was only the first time I was there that she didn't help me but she did check up on me and asked if I was doing ok. Only when we suddenly had a visit did my TL and ETL do something. Ever since that time, I have been on the outs with my ETL because of this. I felt separated from the team. My TL told me I have people under me to supervise and train. They are just over other areas rn to train bec English is not their 1st language. But they're basically mine. I think they're (ETL and TL) still changing how things work. So basically, the whole Bev and Snacks will be under my responsibility to oversee and make it green but from now on, I have 1 or 2 people with me who will own Snacks under my guidance. Bevs will be my main area to own.

I call bullshit.
Sure ASANTS but I have never heard of Backroom doing the TV wall.
Maybe helping the signing ninja sure but no way are they doing it on their own.
The whining that would come from that idea would be overwhelming.

Not to mention the amount of mistakes that would be made.
It's not that the TVs are heavy but they are awkward.
Hanging them isn't anything like putting a TV that is nice and protected up in the steel.
I've pulled the TVs I needed so I know what it's like in the back room.
Now think about it being out of the box so that any mistake you make could cost a couple thousand dollars.
Then try to hook up the cables which somehow always seem to be at the worse possible angle from where you are holding the damned TV.
I'm not saying any of this because I think you care or because I think you could even do it.
This is mostly for those of us who have beaten our heads against this thankless project.
I raise a glass to you.

You forget they don't think. If they drop it they just toss it back on the shelf or the defect tub and someone else deals with it.

BR does carts from Truck. Electronics TMs do anything TVs Electronics TMs are not Flow.

Use the line listing. Some tv's are f's and some are p's, which is confusing as hell, but it works.

My biggest problem is that anytime a display tv sells, the lod at the time has them just throw a tv up there willy nilly. So today, I found two of the same tv's on the wall.
Dare you to hang a curved TV on the wall.

Flow one time made a mistake that I saw that had our VML tearing her hair out but it was kinda subtle in the grand scheme of things. I noticed the collars on some white shirts in the men's section looked a little odd, checked all the dpci's and found that half of the shirts were actually women's shirts. The biggest clue actually was tag placement, on the button line for the men's shirts, right arm for the women's shirts. I don't know if someone ordered based on how many shirts looked like men's shirts instead of the dpci's but when we got it all separated there were so many XL and XXL women's shirts that each size had more than XS-S-M put together.

They did that with the Cat and Jack school polo's all the time. they couldn't figure out polka dots are girls and not boys..

But in fairness we had a couple of softlines people who couldn't figure that out either.

I'm more surprised you have a spare lockbox to begin with.

My trainer wrote down the different DPCIs for me on my second day of hanging SL flow but I can tell the third generation of SL flow folded and every new SL person doesn't have a clue. 🙁 The hanging uniform pants/shorts would get mixed up constantly too.
