Make sure you ask Execs for a Red Card or CIHYFS.

Can electronics team members have their own name badge?

You could ask if she would mind covering the floor while you went on break and then when she gets done maybe she could pop by some of our other stores and help out since the hours have been cut back so far.

"Our mission is to make Target the preferred shopping destination for our guests by delivering outstanding value, continuous innovation and an exceptional guest experience by consistently fulfilling our Expect More. Pay Less.® brand promise.

To support our mission, we are guided by our commitments to great value, the community, diversity and the environment."

Question: How does Target view its future commitment to the communities that it belongs to in light of the fact that many of the community members are working fewer hours and pay is not keeping up with the cost of living?

The Social Security Administration has estimated 2012 cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) at 1.7% and estimated 2012 increases in the national average wage index (AWI) as 4.4%. (These estimates are derived from the "intermediate" assumptions in the 2011 Trustees Report. ) Does Target plan to meet these projected increases for its tm's as part of its commitment?

Love this! *Cue Tina's generic corporate answer*

Winrar!
The funny thing about this is last week all we here is "Sorry, this all the hours we have!", this week we have team members who were previously scheduled 12 hours (!) for the week, now are in OT because everyone is in panic mode trying to make the store look like it hasn't been staffed like a 7/11 for the past three months.

Perfect.

Let her know the new health benefits suck ass.

Oh and so does having one cashier all ****ing day.

Maybe ask her to push a pull or set an endcap, or help a guest...or hell even subt something from the backroom

Not a question, but a "food for thought" comment: Many tm's believe that their leadership has little understanding of the job that they do. It could be beneficial for leadership training to include stints (more than 1-4 hours) actually doing the job that the tm's do to increase their understanding of the things that both hinder and improve their productivity. This training time should be sans any leadership responsibility so as to get the full job experience. (Our ETL-log actually did this for 2 days with our instocks team. He was very surprised at all of the interruptions during scanning time and how much the work of the plano, pricing, salesfloor, backroom and flow team affect the productivity of the team. He was better able to lead us and his other teams toward executing best practices because of his experience.) Feeling that your supervisor understands your job fully leads to better morale.

why can we not cut back on the amount of ridiculous ISM or stop expanding/remolding stores or cut back on any of the hundreds of things that cost this company money INSTEAD of cutting back on team members health care??????

why does target have a vendetta against veteran team members?
why does target no longer try to promote from within?
why is a cashier(who has only been a cashier for a year) allowed to promote to team lead, having no sales floor experience what-so-ever, while veteran, already trained team members are passed over and told they aren't good enough???

why are STLs allowed to sit in their office(s) and watch the camera feeds from through out the store? .....creepy....

why are ETLs allowed to foster mistrust in team members, TLs and other ETLs? and consistently strive to set people up for failure?

why are team leads told to write bad reviews so that team members do not get a raise?

Ask Tina what medical plan she is on.... and if it is available to team members.....

Let's keep it clear for the people who believe everything they read on the internet.
All questions are for entertainment purposes only. I will not be anywhere near Ms. Schiel, nor would I ask her anything inappropriate if I was.
I would, however, hit that like a 747.

Quite true. However, using logic in the Corporate World rarely works...

I think it would be even MORE beneficial for the Corporate "think tank" to do this....anyone heard of the "new and improved pharmacy plan"? It's going to send GS scores down the drain and is already killing morale in my pharmacy as well as a few other local ones.

Happy Tina Schiel Day err body! I'm off to the parade!
