Specialty Two DPCI’s per Waco

Use to be mir, now is ir
It would also help if they stop buying shippers of books. We still have so many of Dog books,, Captains Underpants and the organzied/self help. It always frustrates me when the IR is for overstock of books It only wants a couple of copies not all copies from the backroom. Also the personalized Christmas books where on so many different IRs. Why can't they all be one just one IR. I had to scan some copies to find the 2 or 3 titles that was on that ir. Guess that wouldn't be an issue if we on put 2 dpcis per Waco.

Yeah I know what you mean ya . It really is frustrating since they took the vendor credit away . Or at least bring back the function of activating on your own , or being able to scan it and find out which ir is part of . They really made the change for no reason .

Vendor Credits were never intended haven't been intended to be used for books since around the end of 2019, which is why it was removed. It is only intended for DSD Vendors which books (typically) aren't.

There was a time when we were allowed to use vendor credits for books. Back when I started with Target when book and mmb had a specialist over the dept. She would give damaged or paper back books where the pages where yellow and I did a credit and ship with a vendor credit print out and include it with a MIR. Now I just override the damaged books to toss and trash them. When books set on shelves for some time the pages turn yellow. They stay on the shelf or it discounted set in the back till it shows up on a IR.

What's the term for when receiving takes a bunch of old books and other media and ships them back?

If Target did that more, they wouldn't have this problem with books. Too much shit.
(M)IR's only way to do it now. Which are sent by vendor. We used to be able to send back Discontinueds by doing a Vendor Credit but that was abruptly stopped last fall for some stupid reason... and yeah, the backrooms are horrible now.

On today's truck I got 42 eaches of a rather large product that isn't even on an active POG yet, but when it does set in two weeks has a capacity of....2. Awesome, I'm so happy that's going to be eating up multiple shelves in the backroom for the next 3 months.
This. This is the shit they pull all the time.

Also today we got sent another giant box of a particular face mask when we have over 300 in the back already. And when I tried to sweep it, the system goes "needed cause of sales forecast" or whatever cockamamie reason. WTF.
