Archived Vacation Pay-out in Minnesota

My spouse is a TL at a store in MN. Anyone know if Target pays out earned vacation in Minnesota if someone voluntarily leaves (and gives proper notice)?

if it's the law, yes, otherwise, no.

According to the Target Time Off Program Guide, "all unused vacation accrued after January 1, 2016, will be forfeited unless you work in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, or Rhode Island, or employment ends due to retirement or death. If you have any unused vacation prior to January 1, 2016*, that vacation will be paid to you upon termination—regardless of the state in which you worked or the reason for which your employment ended."

The 2016 leave had taken by the end of 2017.

MN does not have vacation payout laws, sadly.
