Employers are referred to The work number

I put my BRTL and used the HROC number. I didn’t put the store phone number down due to the reasonable chance that the person answering would say something they aren’t supposed to.

But my next employer used a professional background check and they just looked up the store’s phone number and called them anyways. From there they were redirected to The Work Number. They shared my dates of employment, job title, and pay rate.
