I started off with plain white sneakers but now I'm wearing some grey vans because they're comfier and look classier ;)

lol old topic but...
Red high-top converse. The Dr. Scholls sound so nice...why didn't I even think about that. thanks for that tip

I alternate between two pairs of Puma's I have. May be getting something different soon. Not sure. Too many kinds of shoes and I'm too picky about what I put on my feet.

hahaha...

But seriously folks....

My old go-tos were New Balance and another non-slip working shoe that I no longer can recall...

Since my feet have become rather mutated over the years it's usually Brooks or bust ( sold on specialty shops for people with problem feet, or found on Zappos and the like ), and they are a very good reliable choice, though someone I know is singing the praises of Red Wing shoes to me on a regular basis ( steel-toed work boots, etc., etc... ) so I may give them a try soon...

I wear Cobby Cuddler shoes. They're made for people who are on their feet all day. They come in black, brown, or white. They aren't the most beautiful shoes to wear, but they are quite comfortable. I can only find these shoes at Kmart stores....usually runs about $20 to $25. These shoes used to be sold at shoe stores.....but when shoe stores went out of fashion the shoes became more difficult to find.

The best shoes to wear would be nurse's shoes.....again, not very attractive....but heavenly for the feet....and they last awhile.

Oh, shoes that tie are better than slip ons because you can adjust the shoes as the day goes on....if your feet tend to swell.

When I first started 6 years ago, I wore a nice pair of Doc Martins because they looked very business-casual. I was a cashier and didn't do a lot of walking during my shifts, and the mats below the lanes helped a bit.

A few months later I did my first sales floor shift. It's been tennis shoes or Crocs every day since!

I have been wearing some KC running shoes, although I have been wondering if Vibram Toe Shoes are acceptable to wear...

On a side note, New Balances always made my feet happy after long hours on my feet in the past.

Steel toes! Some tm's have it saved their feet from getting squashed from pallets and other things. Personally I wear running shoes, so I can run out of there when I punch my ETL in the head...kidding but I wear them because they're very comfy to wear for 8+ hours of standing.

I *just* ordered a pair of bistro Crocs (meets ANSI standards for slip resistance) and have my fingers crossed I am allowed to wear them. I started 2 days ago and the Champion sneakers I purchased from Payless are a joke. I *live* in Crocs when not at work.

On a side note, the khaki thing is new to me, I bought Old Navy diva khakis out of depseration. I do not recommend them. I am purchasing a women's Dickie's relaxed cargo pant. Hopefully this will keep the plumber's crack in check.

Here's hoping!
I am in training for GSA so hopefully there won't be an issue.

Knee high stall mucking boots. It's getting deeper and deeper out here!!!! Seriously though Danskos, ugly as all hell but totally worth it.

$20 black Mossimo skate shoes. They wear out pretty quick and start to hurt after a while...but they are cheap and easy to replace.

Black work Sketchers, wear a pair out every six months but they are light, no slip, no mark soles and they don't hurt my feet or back after 12hrs. Downside they can be really warm, but that is an upside too.

Always spend good money on work shoes. It will pay you back years from now.

And all my Chuck Taylor have insoles in them, best trick out there. Still not work shoes though.

I either wear my Steve madden or banana republic dress shoes.

I wore Crocs Specialist w/o holes. They have a back so they were fine. They were exactly like the bistro but didn't have the anti slip sole. I was salesfloor so I didn't need it.

i wear Sketcher Go Walks. They are a life saver and now pretty much all the girls, including the etl's, wear these shoes.
