If I'm bored on thanksgiving. I might go in to the store. Get on the long line and buy a pack of gum. Maybe while on line, I will order something to be picked up. Can I order a pack of gum or a candy bar? Then wait on that line and pick it up.

Truth is, I don't think I will be bored enough to do any of that, and if I am, I'm sure I will make a different choice like watch a movie or clean out a closet

Target should learn from Best Buy's model (at least my local store) and have the guest pay for their TV at one place, and then take the receipt and ticket and drive around to receiving to pick up their TV.

Frys does this with nearly all expensive electronics all day everyday. Twice as much for blackfriday as they have 2 people filling orders in front of computers for each area(TV, Games, Computer etc.) then you pick it up in the front. Their blackfriday at least the one i live near is quite well done. 1 massive line that feeds into their like 40 checkout areas, the line wraps around the entire store and is mapped out on the floor in gaffers tape with one person at the end on the line who's only job is to stand at the end of the line with a large set of balloons tied around them to mark the end of the line. They also have 3 large guys let people in 5 at a time on usually 5 min delays till capacity then they let people in when some people start to leave.

This is my first Black Friday in retail and I'm scheduled at the Service Desk starting 11 pm on Thursday to 7:30 am on Friday. Can anyone tell me what to expect or will it be business as usual?

Should be super easy. As @Nauzhror said, no price matching of any kind and no returns/repurchases. And for the majority of your shift it will be a graveyard.

I got LSA from 4:30pm-6pm, cashier from 6pm-2:30am, then salesfloor 3:30pm-11:30pm.
