Archived You can keep tips not

At my last job I got tipped $100 by a chick who won a shitload of money at the casino and came in to buy a couple of giant TVs and a bunch of other electronic shit. She was really cool and even said "I used to work here in high school and I know you aren't supposed to take this but I know how much this job fuckin' sucks so our secret okay? Gotta spread that positive karma around"

If I ever win the lotto I'll probably do the same thing tbqh

I commend Spot for being so bold and innovative as to add prostitution into our catalogue of guest services.
That started after they put in the tattoo parlors. Can you believe it!!!

I tell my Starbucks TMs all the time all they have to do is report tips to an LOD. They can keep it then. I only have a problem when I walk up and I see a tip jar filled with money. It wasn't reported and by having a tip jar they are soliciting tips. In those cases since no one wants to own up to it (and I can't really be bothered to review footage) and so I just give the tips to HR to be donated, same as giftcards that guests have left behind.

Two things stand out ( among many ) the longer I work at Target:

1. You’re not supposed to feel any sort of joy or satisfaction at work. Misery and frustration is the rule of the day.

2. Target is dead set on firing me. With all these ludicrous rules and policies.

I accept tips. If a guest wants to give me a tip, I say "that's not necessary." I take it if they insist. It makes the guest happy to tip me. Saying "we're not allowed to take tips", and arguing with them about it is a bad guest experience and the last impression of Target before they leave.

I also don't report tips. Fire me I guess. Nobody ever told me they need to be reported. I've been here a long time, it should have been mentioned at some time by someone.
