Archived 4 Years and 4 Months Later... I'm a GUEST!

hasta la vista, Target was my first taste of the retail world, and I have to say that it developed me and improved my character while also making my skin pretty damn thick. Anyways, after being there for so long I witnessed my store slowly imploding on itself (it's nearing the tipping point)...

    Archived Team Member Handbook?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows how to access the handbook online? I believe it's been updated since 2012 (when I started) and I need to refer to it regarding an ongoing issue at my store with regards to accountability, leadership, brand, and much more. I would just like to refresh my...

    Archived NEW Registers!!!

@HardlinesFour That store almost looked like mine until I saw the background placement of softlines/hardlines lol. Do you know if that store is set to receive a front-end remodel as well? Or is that store built in the new style already? Our store has been confirmed to be getting the entire...

    Archived NEW Registers!!!

The ones that food ave/starbucks got are touch screen, their POS is the same design but a little bit of a different interface.

    Archived NEW Registers!!!

Honestly they probably fell off in transport, and/or someone hit it off and put them back in the wrong spots. It seems this one is a generic register with labels slapped on and it's only kept down by a plastic tab that pops right off if hit at a certain angle. I imagine cashiers with sticky...

    Archived NEW Registers!!!

Yes, we completed just before holiday season last year.

    Archived NEW Registers!!!

Yes they are indeed very pretty, but don't be fooled because the POS sucks even on the newer machines. It's kinda slow (not as slow as before, but still a little lag). I think it's time for a new modern POS that actually uses the processing power of the newer machines.

    Archived NEW Registers!!!

Ask and you shall receive (please let me know if you guys see anything revealing, I think I got it all blurred); Front: Scanner (we can't figure out what the buttons are for aside from the obvious sound button, but the camera is suspicious, we're speculating maybe AP can watch cashiers? Also...

    Archived NEW Registers!!!

After 15 years of constant crashing, freezing, frustration, headaches and slowly falling apart... our store has finally installed the new NCR sleek black registers, the catch though is we don't have the price module for a few weeks, so cashiers are gonna have to deal with extra hawking guests...

Archived How do you get to work?

I take my toaster to work, about a 10 minute ride, however I can put my toaster on speed 3 and make it a 5 minute ride, depends on my mood.

    Archived Target REDcard REDperks

I'll have to watch and see if the tv's in Electronics are playing the ad as well. Like I said, it's been in testing for at least a year (I first noticed it last May when I went, could have been there before but I never paid attention), so more than likely they could be rolling it out very soon...

    Archived Target REDcard REDperks

Is anyone's store piloting this? I was visitng family down in NC and their local target has been piloting the program for well over a year now. Wondering if they've started rolling out to other stores lately. REDperks is a Target REDcard rewards program. The more you spend, the more points you...

Could you snap some pictures, or does anyone know of any pictures, of the remodeled starbucks, checklanes and signs? Also, do these stores have the digital price labels in the Minneapolis stores as well?

MEGATHREAD Hang Me (The Softlines Thread)

There's about 7 of us in my district, but there's at least 40 stores within a 50 mile radius. The furthest store in our District is 36ish miles away.

Archived So much for Home Reno

Okay so I got an update from one of the TL's in charge of the unremodel-remodel, turns out that not all the table/shelf displays will be going away. The tables by small appliances, and possibly some in dishware will be going bye bye. Lightbulbs, home storage and all that will be going back to...

Archived So much for Home Reno

Yes, unforunately. It would also explain the recent and sudden hault in remodels for Home that were planned in the midst of the CVS transition.
