We lost some of our best people to a new Amazon facility lately so I found this article interesting,it appears that the people who left us for WaWa ended up much better.

$15/hr starting pay at Amazon is not the norm. They only start at $12 in my area.

He was referring to a bonus. OM’s are making 6 figures. Though I bet that’s maybe a bit of an exaggeration, or it was given in stock. $30k cash is a lot and doesn’t work out for an employee for tax purposes. Giving stock is typical of organizations trending up.
