today I learned that wanting enough bread to pay your bills is "socialist"
no but suggesting me or anyone is paid to say "I like target" on this board and saying you're a socialist in your title suggests you are one. (hint: not talking about you)

And I'm sorry but part time retail shouldn't set you up to live. Just what I believe.

anybody: I don't feel like working so I'll just stay unemployed and live on welfare lol
lolbertarians: REEEEEEE fucking parasite!! Get a fucking job REEEEEEEEE

anybody: I want to work full time and get 40 hours a week at my job so I can pay my bills
lolbertarians: REEEEEEEE fucking entitled socialist, if you want a union move to North Korea REEEEEEE!!!

In what way
It's a contributing factor not one I would isolate by itself and suggest.

I like how somebody simply saying they support this company's direction elicits this type of response out of people and then they try to pin others as the irrational ones.

I guess it's easy to see yourself in others.

Silence ETL bootlicker.
I hope you're no older than 16 if you have to resort to name calling whenever somebody says something you don't like. This is identical to if I told a kid they can't have some candy and they called me a poopy head.

At least be funny about it.

In my state of $3.09 for 1 gallon of gasoline I need OT now.

$3.20 in Anchorage.
More outside the city. Alaska has always had stupidly high gas prices.
But I don't drive, so the cost just gets added to everything I eat (has to come up by truck or plane) and where I live etc.
Even bus fare is high $5.00 for a day pass, $60.00 for a month.

Clearing the board here.
Argue all you want but if it is about politics take it to the politics thread.

If you aren't happy with someones opinion, say that but don't insult them.
If you can't have a conversation with someone without getting inflammatory put them on ignore.

If you can't follow these basic rules you can stop posting or one of the mods will stop you from posting.

Thank you.

It does work in low volume, 3-4 trucks a week stores. The higher the volume the less likely it is to work hence why stores should be able to tailor it to their needs. Probably around the 45-50 million a year stores is where it starts to not work. I know for a fact SD's at 100 million+ stores do not follow modernization. It just simply wont work.
I don't know about your region but it is the complete opposite for me in the largest region in the corporation, region 200. Take the fact I am also part of the area with one of the highest concentration of stores aka Southern California. Smaller stores struggle on modernization while bigger stores with a bigger payroll do it decently or quite well. There are stores in the $30-50 million range that are negative comping right now.

The big stores do not follow modernization because they feel they should not because they are the bread winners of the corporation. Bigger stores in my region have SDs, for the most part, who have a backbone while the smaller stores are pathetic yes men and women who are just trying to save their job.

Yeah I am familiar with R200,R300. Very high volume stores in R200 are not following it. The 40-50 million dollar stores are struggling. R300 tiny 20 million a year stores are "nailing it" I have seen what is "deemed" as successful modernization. Just do a twitter search for #ladderlessbackroom

Welp looks like its time to bring a Union and Socialism to Target. How many years since they announced a $15 wage...which was all publicity? Now people still starting at $13 an hour and making less than they did in past years thanks to target cutting morning shift incentive pay - or just eliminating the shift.

Corporations with sick policies are in for some major pay rearrangement if a government backing people instead of corporations gets elected soon

I’ll save you some time.... just check out this SDs Twitter. He got a ton of recognition at fall national but only reason it works is his payroll. Back when you could search stores on MPM a couple months ago, I compared their store to stores in my group with similar sales and they were getting 500-800 more hours a week than us. It’s insane to see the different payroll in different regions/groups
