What do they do?

Whenever I help out in HBA I feel like I could do their job based off the questions I get.

Our store currently doesn't have one. Haven't seen one in a month now. Me thinks she quit.

Target has Beauty Advisors like Walgreens does? Learn something new everyday! Wonder if my store has one?

Some stores have them. The store next to corporate in MN has two in the afternoon.

I've never even heard of that position. The girl that works cosmetics is just listed as "Projects" on the daily grid but she usually ends up covering all of green-side sales floor because some dummy decided not to schedule anyone on the sales floor until 2pm.

I believe when they first started, they were called beauty concierges. No store I've ever worked at or been to has had one. Correction: One in Michigan. But the hours were very limited. There was a stanchion sitting in the beauty area.

Beauty Concierges are definitely what's listed in the aisles and lists the hours they are available. There's a case for them in the cosmetics department, one morning I noticed it was unlocked and peeked in. Lol. It had all the tools someone would need to let people test product or remove product like make up remover, cotton balls, cotton swabs ect. Also there were tons of samples and coupons.

Anyway...I heard ppl quit because it's a boring job. I can imagine it is if all you're doing is asking people if they have any questions and don't have to do any pulls or abandon and such. You don't even have to ring them up like at Walgreens...

We have one at our store (I forgot exactly what her title is -- I'll have to check on that tomorrow), but it is an outsourced position, and she wears black. She splits time between our store and another one close by.

My store has a Cosmetics Specialist, who does a good job fixing Flow's screw-ups when pushing HBA, and I know the other target in town has one, as well as a Beauty Advisor (I believe).
Then again, they have two HBA TPS's. Two TPS's whose whole job is to stand in tge HBA area their entire shift. I'd be bored out of my mind.

I'm sure make up theft ads up tho. So it's a good thing to have.

We have a beauty concierge. I love the ones we've had. The current girl is great. They hand out samples, answer hba questions, they bounce around stores too so they sometimes know which stores carry certain stuff that mine doesn't carry, and they offer product suggestions and all that junk. We used to have a cosmetics specialist as well, but I just realized I haven't seen her in a while. Don't know if she's gone or on an loa or something.

Yeah basically my job. Though I wouldn't necessarily say it's flow in my area that fucks up. It's mostly lack of maintenance. They have one person who pushes cosmetics and hair and she's really good.

Yea all it takes is one guest to fuck up a whole aisle. Look at shoes for example lol

Cosmetics is bullshit, that why flow fucks it up.

lol please do you have any idea how easy it is to zone and push over there once you're used to it? That's why my store has the same two people push it consistently. You learn the area. It's easy as hell. I can zone the department without a PDA.

Hell, I can even do most of hair care without a PDA, though I have issues with the salon haircare and the hair accessories.

It took me about a week to memorize the area. I never grab a pda. I just hate the Damn checklane shit lol.
