Besides notifications what do MyDay areas actually change?

Like the title says what does changing the area in MyDay do besides notifications and areas in the phone app?

It changes what tasks you're able to do and see on the homepage. As I'm signed into Service & Engagement, I can't Fill and Backstock, or do Price Change for instance. I know there's more but that's just off the top of my head. I believe S&E is the only one that limits what you can do as those are all Salesfloor Jobs. Even being signed in to Human Resources and Assets Protection notifications gives you access to those.

Ask your tl for training in other areas to see the changes.

As others have said its basically a filter for the tasks that you can do, except Price Change for some reason.

Unless you mean Entertainment, because no one believes Entertainment is in the GM section. 😂

It's not designed that way but I know many stores that do it as it used to all be under electronics. The hours for it should come from gm.

ESID But most stores give the hours meant for entertainment to Tech and give them the responsibility to do entertainment since most of not all stores have tech and entertainment together.

There are S&E things you won't see if you aren't logged into that. Do you sales floor people see change requests? How about price audit.

Of course someone wouldn't see POS notifications. I'm referring to the task page on the myDay home screen. I assumed it was obvious you would only get notifications and phone calls for the area you're signed in as.
