COVID-19 Coronavirus...

Not to mention all the walkies and MyDevices being used.

My store has signs up to clean your equipment at the beginning & end of your shift, with stuff to do so in the equipment room.

I took to washing my hands after processing a vehicle. I'd probably hit the hand sanitizer between transactions if I had to handle money on the registers.

Agreed rhe last thing my butt is doingnis going to buy shit with a virus running sroynd. Especially with older and disabled family members and friends around me. But sheep will be sheep. I feel so bad foe all the opu tms. Apart from them maybe getting good hours for this mess.

What happens if we’re ordered to quarantine? Just call out and everything will be okay?
Should be. Spot can’t fight a government ordered quarantine, doubt they would even try, since once that story hit the local news Spot would be considered the plague store. Not really great for sales...

Gotta love the Walmart white trash buying $150 worth of toilet paper at one shopping spree. Awesome!
To be fair, there are people who will probably be told at some point they can't leave their house for a few weeks. It's happened in other countries around the world. Look at Italy, the entire country is shut down.

Received this email from Brian Cornell (to my non-work email, gonna assume... everyone signed up on Target.com received it)

A Note to Our Guests About the Coronavirus from CEO Brian Cornell
Over the past few days, so many of you have been in our stores and on our website stocking up on all the essential things you need to keep your families healthy and safe.

I want you to know that your health and safety is our first priority, too.

We’ve always taken great pride in our clean and well-run stores, and we know this is more important than ever right now. On top of our daily cleaning procedures, we’re adding hours to each store’s payroll to make our routines even more rigorous. This means more time will be spent cleaning our stores, including cleaning surfaces like checklanes and touchscreens at least every 30 minutes. Like many others, we’re taking guidance from the CDC, which recommends regular cleaning as one of the most important preventive measures we can take. And, out of an abundance of caution, we’ve temporarily stopped food sampling in our stores.

We’re also staffing up our teams to support in-demand services like Order Pickup and Drive Up.

And of course, we’re committed to taking care of our team. For weeks, we’ve provided them with up-to-the-moment guidance and information so they can keep themselves and their families safe. We’re encouraging sick team members to stay home and asking our teams to travel only if it’s business critical. And, to help support our team in real-time, we’ve set up a forum where we’re sharing information and taking questions 24/7.

Speaking of our team, they are working around the clock to make sure that the products you want are available when you need them. As demand for cleaning products, medicine, pantry stock-up items and more remains high, we’re sending more products to our stores as quickly as possible. And this weekend, we started to limit the number of key items per purchase, which will allow more guests to get what they need.

At the center of our company’s purpose is a commitment to help all families, and it’s something we take to heart in good times and bad. This is why we’ll be working hard to keep our stores open so we can be there to support you and your families.

Ok, good because I'm at like a couple miles from the epicenter of the US outbreak, lol
Given that our Seattle area traffic congestion has largely eased up over the past few days - with lots of telecommuting and some schools going to online-only classes - I'm also in this same high-risk location in washington state. I worked my shifts over the past few days but last night started feeling sick, so I'm home right now. Probably a persistent and recurring sinus cold but extremely worried since there are so damned many covid-19 cases in King County. I'm not ready to have my survivors collect Target's life insurance just yet.

I purchased my own personal can of Microban sanitizing spray and lysol wipes I labeled and keep on my person at all times.

Does Target life insurance cover pandemic virus caught at work? Also need to see if my mortgage insurance covers this. I think it's funny that the first thing people do when a viral outbreak hits is to run into a crowded store. I expect Drive Up to be ridiculous.
Check the “Act of God” clause and the “War Clause” some where near those beauties you will find what is not covered. My guess No.
