st transferred to a new store. I recently had stepped down in ordered to be transferred only to avoid from being fired. I now want to be promoted. Will it be too soon to ask??

you may want to build some credit at your new store first by showing them how good you are , it is amazing how quickly a new face can jump to the top of the line, last year a friend had to step down to get a transfer and was promoted again within a few months but he had no issues , depends on what your's were and your new store.

Resolve the performance or attendance issues, first. Old Bad habits take time to break. You need to build trust in your new mgt.
