Does anyone have a list of hardlines/softlines department numbers?

I think 069-xx-xxxx means seasonal merch, and 087-xx-xxxx is for toys or bikes... not much help I know. Haha.

We keep a list in the fitting room, but it's missing some that I guess are newer than the sheet. I don't have work for days, though so that sheet is no help right now haha. I know some of the softlines ones offhand

281 is men's outerwear
283 women's outerwear
096 is women's shoes, 093 is boys shoes
217 toddler accessories
202 kids accessories
061 is accessories
214 women's c9

Some depts have too many numbers, though. I usually remember men's as 40s, but I know there's some 40s in boys too. 76 seems to be boys tops, 39 and 36 are something in girls, 31 is toddler girl something, 16 and 17 are in rtw.. I think they're tops.

Is there one department in specific you're looking for? or a few maybe? I don't feel like posting an entire list, that will take forever. I don't know of any that exist here.

Cant you just go under online planogram and view which ines you need, and type them in word/excel, then print out?

Since you are a brand tm, online Plano, is your best bet. If you are not in pricing, the master list would not serve any purpose to you. Your current focus should be on helping guests, driving sales, setting planos, & getting product out.

I know I don't know the softlines ones real well. BOYS, JLRY and ACCS I can never remember a single one for. Also I've never paid attention to any differences between PRO1, PRO2, MEAT, MTCL, DELI, MTFZ, BAKE, FRZN. Has anybody else tried to memorize these? And does anybody know which ones I might be missing? I'd like to have a complete list, as online planogram only lists it by department type, not by fillgroup, which can be different.

THERE IT IS I KNEW SOMETHING WAS SOMEWHERE.

If something needs to be done in my store, I do it. It can't hurt to learn new thjng, can it?

Before pog I started in the backroom overnight. Knowing the department numbers and the corresponding fill groups was crucial to sorting large amounts of backstock from the truck. Over time you slowly learn the numbers, some quicker than others. As time went on I relied less and less on my pda until I actually was going to backstock it.

We had a list at our fitting room. It was very helpful. It disappeared. I've searched workbench but haven't been able to find it. It isn't under pricing or signing as some have suggested.

I believe I searched Workbench for 'department listing' to pull up the master list.

255 is usually for iPhones that we get in and maybe other apple products? I remember seeing it frequently on my security sheet, but eh.
