Archived Direct Deposit Question

I just got my new debit card in the mail and was wondering how long it would take to switch my direct deposit over to my new card. Would it be next pay period (I get paid again next week) or would it take a couple pay periods?

Is it attached to the same bank account you had before? If so, you don't need to do anything since direct deposit is based on your bank account number and not your debit card number.
