Why Walmart Is Cutting 7,000 Jobs at Its Stores

"The jobs being eliminated involve counting cash or managing invoices for suppliers. Invoicing will be handled by a central office at company headquarters in Arkansas, while money will be counted at each store by a “cash recycler” machine."

To me it looks like cash office?

That title is misleading. They're cutting 7000 positions, not firing 7000 people. Many of them will just work in other departments, the same as Target COTMs do.

Wally World recently went to electronic invoicing for the vendors invoices. Basically, kills any jobs in accounts payable at the store & Corp office.
